1. When is the BADBIR project running until?
Recruitment for BADBIR is open until the end of July 2013. Following this all patients complete a 5 year follow-up period up to July 2018.
2. Is BADBIR open to new centres?
BADBIR is still open to new centres from the UK and the Republic of Ireland. If your hospital is not yet approved to participate in the Register then please contact the BADBIR office and we'll be happy to advise on the steps that need to be taken.
3. My hospital is approved to participate. How do I become involved with BADBIR?
If your hospital is already approved to take part there is just a little paperwork to be completed:
- (1) A BADBIR research team addition form which will need to be completed with your details and also signed by your hospital's BADBIR principal investigator
- (2) A summary of your CV - Click here for a template
Once both of these documents are complete, please either post or fax them to the BADBIR office on 0161 306 1912. We will then inform your Trust's R&D department of the addition and arrange for access to be provided to the database.
4. What support is available?
