BADBIR Centre Finance

All dermatology departments contributing data to BADBIR receive payment of £120 per baseline registration and £30 per follow-up visit recorded on the database. Payments are made twice annually and cover registrations and follow-ups made in 2 recurring time periods:
•1st of February to 31st of July
•1st of August to 31st of January

Following the end of each payment period, the University of Manchester can be invoiced for the amount owed. Please contact the BADBIR office if you have any queries

BADBIR Income Projections

Please use this Excel spreadsheet to estimate income from the BADBIR activity. Please amend the 'Registrations' line for each of the months up until the end of the recruitment period in July 2013. The spreadsheet will then automatically populate when the 8 follow-ups are due and also calculate how much money is owed each 6-month payment period. Please note this projection assumes that once a patient is registered all 8 follow-ups will be completed in the month it is due.
