1. Verification and monitoring of database access requests
We use your information to verify your identity, approve database access requests, and maintain secure audit trails. This ensures we comply with data security requirements.

For Principal Investigators only, your name and centre name will be displayed publicly on our

The email address you provide is used to send essential study communications. This may include study updates, clarification requests about entered data, or routine reports such as the six‑monthly finance statement.
How do we protect your information?
Access to the BADBIR clinician database is strictly controlled.
Your information is stored on secure servers at The University of Manchester, which operate under institutional data protection and security standards.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
