A message from Bradford:

I think COVID and staffing had a major impact overall on this study and we had to take a step back for some time.

When Sr Johnson (retired) and latterly myself became the Principal Investigator we thought we must do something as this valuable project has been ongoing in Bradford since 2008. We all felt a little overwhelmed when we realised there were so many follow ups to do. We arranged some training and refresher sessions for all the staff so we could have a strategy of how to go about this. The help and support we received from the BADBIR staff ensured that we were supported enough to work as a team collectively to get the follow ups more manageable. So I guess this is the main reason for why we got the follow-ups done.
