East Kent have been selected for our BADBIR Centre Recognition Award for their hard work in keeping on top of BADBIR follow-ups.

Here is a statement from their PI, Dr Rajeev:

A message from East Kent:

We are a small team in East Kent and BADBIR work is carried out only by one consultant and a registrar due to geographical challenges and a large area covered by the Trust. Despite lack of staff, we have managed to keep BADBIR going as we understand the importance of monitoring new drugs and emerging trends of efficacy and side effects . We have an active research team, the paperwork is put in notes before clinic, our outpatient nursing team gives out the paperwork beforehand and research sits in well with our biologics clinic. We have meetings to iron out any glitches and queries are answered promptly. We have managed to get a few patients to use the online tool too.
