Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust have been selected for our BADBIR Centre Recognition Award in recognition of their hard work in keeping on top of BADBIR follow-ups and maintaining the quality and accuracy of the BADBIR register.

A message from Doncaster:

We have a dedicated research clinic twice a month so that patients are seen by Nurses who are part of research team and patients can fill out all the questionnaire at the same time as their follow-up.

We Track all the upcoming follow-ups so that patient get booked in timely manner and do not miss their follow-up appointment which are coordinated to match their BADBIR follow-up appointments.

Regular reminder at monthly departmental meetings to all clinicians to send information to Dr Desai if any patient starts systemic or Biologic treatment for their Psoriasis.

Dedicated Pharmacist contact who emails a list of all patients who are newly commenced on  any Biologic to BADBIR research team so that they can be enrolled on to BADBIR.

If any patient misses the appointment for BADBIR-I tack the patient and contact patient to complete the BADBIR proforma-either telephone or F2F.
